Liesing – a district with industry and a nature reserve on the southern outskirts of the city

Join me on a journey through time in Vienna’s youngest and fifth-largest district.

We walk from the Amtshaus to Liesing Castle, past the former production site of the once widely known barley juice and the homes of its workers, under the aqueduct of the Viennese water pipeline and along the watercourse that gives the district its name.
