Walk through Nußdorf Heiligenstadt

These two former villages have beauty and history to offer. Beethoven came here searching for cure. There used to be a brewery, a spa and a harbour. There is quite a bit to dicover , but please be ready to walk fairly far.

As my Grätzltouren want to trace the cultural history of each Grätzl and work out its peculiarities, I find Nußdorf and Heiligenstadt so worthwhile because you can still see the old town centers, the buildings, the settlement structure and almost everything you pass is actually beautiful. Such a feast for the eyes. And in the background…
